The Governing Board is the executive body of the Assembly.
The Governing Board is the executive body of the Assembly. The Governing Board has 11 members out of which the Duke, commander and chieftain are the members of the Governing Board by virtue of their office. At least one alkar is elected to the Governing Board on the proposal of the alkars and squires’ troop.
Out of its system the Governing Board elects to a four-year term the President and his Deputy, within 8 days of the election. Duke, commander and chieftain cannot be elected as President or as Deputy.
President of the Governing Board is also President of the Society. For their work the President and members of the Governing Board are responsible to the Governing Board and to the Assembly.
Out of its members the Governing Board elects a Secretary to a four-year term, and appoints the Host and Treasurer from among the members of the Society. President, Secretary and at least five members of the Governing Board must be ordinarily resident in the territory of the Cetina region.
