The Governing Board is the executive body of the Assembly.
The Governing Board is the executive body of the Assembly. The Governing Board has 11 members of which the Duke, the Alkars Troop Commander (alajčauš) and Chieftain (arambaša) are the members in the line of duty. At least one alkar is elected to the Governing Board at the alkars and squires’ proposal.
Out of its system the Governing Board elects President and his Deputy for a four-year-term, within 8 days of the election-day at the latest.
Duke, the Alkars Troop Commander and Chieftain cannot be elected for President or his Deputy.
President of the Governing Board is also President of the Society.
President and members of the Governing Board are responsible for their work to the Governing Board and to the Assembly.
From among its members the Governing Board elects a Secretary for a four-year term; it appoints the Host and Treasurer from among the members of the Society.
President, Secretary and at least five members of the Governing Board must have their permanent residence in the area of the Cetina region.
